Best Peptide Vendors 2026: Who Still Ships, With Dated Sources

As of September 24, 2026, none of the seven third-party US research peptide vendors on this dated status list showed an open store at the domain checked for it: Eternal Peptides, Chemyo, Strate Labs, Peptide Sciences and Science.bio have posted closure or shutdown notices, Amino Asylum runs no store at its domain, and apexpeptides.com, the domain checked for Apex Peptides, showed a maintenance page. Pepta Labs, which publishes this page, is itself a US research peptide vendor, so the page does not rank, score or recommend sellers: it records the status of the vendors buyers search for, with a dated source for every row. Whether any open vendor is worth an order is decided by documents rather than rankings, and those documents are listed in the twelve vendor checks.

Which research peptide vendors are still shipping in 2026?

Of the seven third-party vendors in the table below, none showed an open store at the domain checked for it on September 24, 2026, the date every row was last checked. Pepta Labs, the eighth row, was operating that day. Status as of September 24, 2026: 8 vendors checked, 5 closure or shutdown notices posted, 1 domain without a store, 1 maintenance page, 1 operating.

Five vendors on the list posted a closure or shutdown notice in 2026: Science.bio (between January 7 and February 8), Peptide Sciences (notice archived March 8), Strate Labs (notice archived July 28), Chemyo (September 8) and Eternal Peptides (September 15). Only Strate Labs gave a reason in its closure notice, a changed regulatory landscape; Peptide Sciences and Eternal Peptides called their closures voluntary, and Chemyo and Science.bio gave none in theirs.

Apex Peptides carries the narrowest status on the page. On September 24, 2026, apexpeptides.com loaded a login and maintenance page in place of a store, with no closure notice on that domain, and as of September 26, 2026 no public record reviewed ties the domain to Apex Peptides, LLC (South Dakota registry ID DL299126). The row records only the page the domain showed that day and changes only with a later dated check or a notice from the company. How is each vendor's status checked and dated?

Each row's status comes from one of four kinds of source, and the row names which one: the vendor's own notice, an Internet Archive capture, a dated Pepta Labs check of the domain, or an fda.gov or court page. A row reports what its source shows and nothing more; it never states a cause the source does not state.

The status words in the table have fixed meanings. Closed means the vendor's own notice says it closed permanently. Shut down means the vendor's own notice says it shut down operations. Website closed means the notice named a closing time for the website and the domain has not loaded a store since. Site offline means the domain shows no store and no notice. Maintenance page means the domain loads a holding page in place of a store and no notice explains it. Operating means the store loads and takes orders.

Every row carries two dates: the date on record, taken from the source, and the date the row was last checked. All eight rows were last checked on September 24, 2026; peptidesciences.com refused the automated check that day, so its row also cites the latest archive capture. The Updated date at the top of the page moves only when a row changes.

Left out on purpose: forum posts, social media, reviews, rumors, reports of enforcement without a linked primary record, and any claim whose only source is another vendor's page. A vendor without a dated source does not get a row until one exists.

Where can research peptides be bought in 2026 after the closures?

This page names one operating seller, Pepta Labs, which publishes it and lists 35 compounds in its catalog; it names no other open store, because a list of open stores would work as a recommendation. After a closure, the closed vendor's own notice is the most reliable guide to which offers are genuine. Science.bio's notice says that any website, entity or individual claiming to be Science.bio, a successor to it, or to sell its products is unauthorized. Chemyo's notice names chemyo.com as its official website, says no other website is authorized to represent it, and says it no longer accepts payments through any website, person or entity.

A closed vendor's report describes the production run that vendor had sampled; it does not show that stock now sold as that vendor's “former inventory” came from that run or was kept under known conditions after the store closed. The document to ask any seller for is the report for the run it is actually selling.

For three of the closed vendors, the Pepta Labs switching guide matches item names to its own listings by compound name and quantity only: Eternal Peptides and Science.bio have mapped rows, and Peptide Sciences has a section without mapped rows. A name match documents what the other store listed; it says nothing about that store's material, and Pepta Labs does not sell Science.bio or Peptide Sciences inventory.

What should be checked before ordering from any vendor?

Twelve checkable facts show whether a vendor documents what it sells, and each one is a document or public record that can be read before an order is placed. In three lines:

• The report (checks 1 to 5): an independent laboratory's RP-HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity results, sent before purchase and tied to a stated production run or lot.
• The listing, label and terms (checks 6 to 11): CAS number, formula, molecular weight and sequence on the listing, the salt form and the basis of the stated quantity, a listing limited to chemistry, identity, purchasing and legal facts, research-use-only labelling, a named legal entity and published terms.
• The public record (check 12): domain history, the state business registry entry, any closure history and the FDA warning letters database.

A vendor is not necessarily the manufacturer. Pepta Labs' own documentation, in the words it uses on every page: “Independent third-party HPLC purity analysis and mass-spectrometry identity confirmation, commissioned through the purchasing group on a sampled production run from the source. Pepta Labs does not test in-house.” The report is “Sent by email on request, before you order if you want to see it first.” Because testing is commissioned by the purchasing group, the client field may name the group or source rather than Pepta Labs, and supplier-identifying fields are redacted. Vial labels identify the compound, quantity and research-use designation. They do not carry lot or batch numbers.
