Research Use & Compliance Policy

Pepta Labs LLC, doing business as Pepta Labs · Last updated: August 16, 2026

Pepta Labs LLC is a supplier and reseller of lyophilized research compounds. Products are intended, offered, labeled, and sold solely for lawful laboratory research. They are not for human or animal use, consumption, administration, clinical use, diagnosis, treatment, or personal or household use.

A disclaimer is not a safe harbor

“Research Use Only” states our intended-use restriction and the Buyer’s contractual obligation. It is not FDA approval, clearance, exemption, or certification, and it does not make a prohibited use permissible. Website content, labels, communications, order review, and buyer conduct must all remain consistent with laboratory research.

Permitted and prohibited use

Permitted

Lawful laboratory research, analytical method work, and chemical characterization performed by qualified adults with suitable facilities, training, equipment, and procedures.

Prohibited

Human or animal administration or consumption; personal, household, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, food, supplement, compounding, or veterinary use; and resale, relabeling, or diversion for any such purpose.

Products may not be used in patient care, clinical investigations, diagnostic procedures, therapeutic research involving administration to a person or animal, or any activity requiring an FDA authorization, investigational application, prescription, or licensed practitioner.

Buyer requirements

At checkout, the Buyer must affirmatively agree to the Terms of Service and this policy and certify that the Buyer is at least 21 years old; is ordering only for a legitimate laboratory-research purpose; has appropriate training, facilities, equipment, and procedures; will not administer a product to a person or animal; will not resell or transfer it for a prohibited use; and will comply with applicable law and institutional requirements.

Account, payment, shipping, and research information must be accurate. A person ordering for an organization must have authority to bind it. Do not order if you cannot make every certification truthfully.

Order screening and anti-diversion

Subject to applicable law, Pepta Labs LLC may review order circumstances and communications, request information about the Buyer or proposed research, limit quantities, refuse or cancel an order, refund a payment, suspend an account, or restrict future purchases when information indicates a prohibited intended use, false certification, diversion, fraud, or other legal or safety concern.

We do not provide human or animal dosing, cycling, administration, injection, reconstitution, efficacy, treatment, or veterinary guidance and do not sell administration supplies. Requests for that information are inconsistent with our intended use and may result in cancellation or account restriction. Physiological-effect testimonials are not displayed as product claims.

Business and sourcing model

Pepta Labs LLC is not a manufacturer, production facility, compounding pharmacy, testing laboratory, or healthcare provider. We do not synthesize compounds, operate an ISO-certified production facility, conduct batch release or rejection, or perform in-house analytical testing.

Compounds are sourced through a cooperative purchasing arrangement. Multiple buyers combine volume orders placed with manufacturers and fund independent third-party analytical testing on the resulting production runs. Testing is commissioned by the purchasing group, so a report may identify the group or source, not Pepta Labs LLC, as the client. Supplier-identifying fields are redacted before a report is shared.

Product information and vial labeling

Customer-facing product information is limited to commercial and chemical facts such as compound name, supplier-stated nominal quantity, CAS Registry Number, molecular formula, molecular weight, sequence when applicable, physical form, reported HPLC purity, price, and dry-storage information. Product pages do not provide biological-mechanism, receptor, therapeutic-effect, dosing, cycling, administration, injection, or reconstitution guidance.

Testing and analytical documentation

The analytical work represented by shared reports is limited to independent third-party HPLC purity analysis and mass-spectrometry identity confirmation for a sampled sourced production run.

Reported HPLC purity is published on the applicable product page. Available HPLC and mass-spectrometry documentation may be requested by email only at support@peptalabs.com; it is not downloadable from product pages.

Review requirements before ordering

If your work requires an unredacted report, independently measured fill quantity, sterility, endotoxin testing, or another test not expressly stated, email us before ordering. Confirm that the available documentation satisfies your protocol, institution, or quality system.

Shipping and storage

Orders are accepted only for delivery to United States addresses. Compounds ship as sealed lyophilized powder at ambient temperature without cold packs or insulated packaging. Dry lyophilized powder is substantially more thermally stable than reconstituted solution, and short-term ambient exposure in ordinary transit is not expected to meaningfully affect purity. On arrival, refrigerate sealed dry vials at 2–8°C or store at -20°C for long-term storage, protected from light and moisture.
