Mechanism of Action
Kisspeptin is a family of peptides encoded by the KISS1 gene that bind GPR54 on GnRH neurons. Kisspeptin-GPR54 signaling serves as the master switch for the HPG axis, controlling puberty onset, reproductive cyclicity, and fertility. Originally identified as a metastasis suppressor gene product.
