Mechanism of Action

CJC-1295 with DAC is a synthetic GHRH(1-29) analogue modified with a maleimidopropionic acid linker enabling covalent albumin binding. This extends half-life from minutes to 6-8 days for sustained GH/IGF-1 elevation without frequent dosing.

Key Research Findings

  • Single injection elevated mean GH levels for 6+ days and IGF-1 for 9-11 days
  • 2-10 fold increase in mean GH concentration at steady state with weekly dosing
  • Preserved natural pulsatile GH release pattern
