Mechanism of Action (Published Research)
TB-500's primary studied mechanism is actin sequestration and polymerization. Thymosin Beta-4 binds G-actin monomers and regulates their assembly into F-actin filaments, which are essential for cell structure, migration, and division. In preclinical models, TB-500 has been observed to promote endothelial cell migration, modulate NF-kB inflammatory signaling, and promote blood vessel formation in tissue models.

Cardiac models: Hinkel et al. (2015) observed effects in porcine cardiac tissue models following ischemic events. Multiple studies have examined Tβ4 in post-MI remodeling models.
Dermal models: Published wound biology studies observed accelerated re-epithelialization and keratinocyte migration in animal models.
